They should build them with dual NICs... then you can cluster them :).

Still possible with just one NIC. There are the obvious design disadvantages, but it has been done before with other boards (BeagleBoards etc):

Before dual NICs I'd personally want to see PoE first. It'd be nice if they started a line that was solar powered and wireless for sensing network projects. Single charge battery options wouldn't be bad either. I guess there's not much incentive for this yet since arduino covers a lot of these areas.

That looks like a hot mess...LOL.
At least it works :).

PoE would work for workstations.

I need a blade enclosure with blades :).

Watch Out, Raspberry Pi; Via Announces The APC 8750, A $50 Android PC

http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/watch_out_raspberry_pi_announces_apc_8750_50_android_pc

I recently got an Arduino Uno from Radio Shack. It is not a computer with an operating system but it is programmable in something like the C language.

http://www.radioshack.com/uc/index..../pages/Arduino.html&noBc=true&camp=PPC:Google

http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=arduino&origkw=arduino&sr=1

So things are getting interesting again like the late 70s. These bloated Windows operating systems are worse then the mainframes of the 80s.

um

um

Radio shack carries a lot of Arduino and maker kits (from make magazine) now. They're getting back to their roots.
