Destee family you Agree or Disagree ?

"My friend concluded, after meeting with the man, that he⿿d obtained his massive fortune largely because he DID NOT spend his time ⿿stuntin,⿝ ⿿flossin,⿝ ⿿shining⿝ and all the other stuff that a lot of people might do if they had that kind of money. Instead, he was focused on grinding and working hard to be successful. He wasn⿿t judgmental about other people who spent most of their time engaged in leisure, but he was the one in college burning the midnight oil while others were seeking out the latest party"
"You are not here to build wealth, become captains of industry or use your money to improve the world around you. Instead, you are meant to use your money to become like the ⿿N*gga in Paris⿝ (Jay-Z) who earned $63 million dollars last year, gave only $6,000 to charity, and sings songs about private jets flying over your head. Jay-Z himself engages in some principles of wealth-building, but what he teaches our youth will leave them broke ⿿ some might even call him a slumlord."

    agree.

somebody, somehow, someday gots to give something back!

including doing something about the "brain drain": gathering skills that make ya the big bucks could be skills useful for the community, eh?

Ignorance of economics, finance, money management, and law is what keeps most of us broke and wishing, in my opinion.

On the flip-side if you make it and squander it, that's your right to do as you please with your property whether wise or foolish.

Like my grandma always said,...''If you save and do right with your money, your money will save you''.

I would of thought that some of these so call artists of today would take business classes and learn to use their money wisely. One day they will wake up..

In most instances, that won't be the case.

    Hindsight is always 20/20.

    The trick is developing foresight.

There are some doing that now. Wondering,..''how in the hell i get $3 million dollars and now i'm broke as hell?''

Some of these artists keep forgetting that they have to pay lawyers, bookers, workers, back up singers, band players, drivers, accountants. Everybody ain't in this for free.

if black people take their money and give it directly to white people we will always be broke.
the more often money is turned over within our own community, buying form one another, the more prosperous we will be.

I'll add that one needs to understand PROPERTY and ASSETS versus EQUITABLE INTERESTS and LIABILITIES.

Money management is a sorely needed lesson by many.

Then again,...if some of us's who own's businesses would just stop being so highly expensive and rude to the other black folks then maybe we wouldn't have to go and buy from the whites, asians, philipians, etc,.. (i just felt like venting that :11400: )
