    Rain...

Your words brought me to tears
    so if I could
    I would return the favor
    and rain on you
Surprising your mind with my intensity
just like a winter thunderstorm would do
    Unexpected, yet inexplicably inviting
    and mysteriously exciting

    My tears would purge you
    from the fears
    of those stormy yesteryears
You'd be caught in a downpour of acceptance
    leaving you deliriously drenched
Per chance when I share my life's potion, willingly
You'd drink of me, til your thirst was quenched

    Rain...Rain...

I'd draw you a bath of April showers in January
And sprinkle in drops of fragrant rosemary
I'd bathe you gently from your head to your feet
    leaving you feeling relaxed
    and smelling oh so sweet

My lightening strikes would send a surge of love
Electrifying every inch of your frame
While my voice would thunder in echoes
reverberating each syllable of your name

    Rain...Rain...Rain...

Dripping from my torrent of tears
    I'd watch you...lying there
    Emotionally spent
    sopping wet, and bare
From all the love that was meant
in each and every drop that was sent
    If I could rain...on...you...

This is so beautiful. I will have to read it again. You flow very nice in this. I was just posting in another post how I find the rain exciting. You see, you know and I know you feel love.
