    Rain Drops

    Like rain drops
    Falling from heaven
    Sitting in darkness saddened
    I cry missing her

    Wanting to feel her touch
    One more time
Keeps visions of her on my mind
    Like freshly blossomed roses

    Smelling her sweet scent
    Reminds me of ocean air
Mixed with the scent of peaches
Her fragrance still wears on my cloth

    Missing she is horrible
    Like nightmares haunting my sleep
Not being able to forget her
    Drives me insane

    Letting go is not easy
    When love is added
    To mathematical equations
1 and 1 is not a pair anymore

    Separation
    Causing division
    Brining Tears like
    Waterfalls from closed eyes

    Pain is nothing to this
    Imagine your heart
    Being returned to you
    With a thousand daggers

    Topped with nails
    Penetrating
    Through the essence
    Of your life force

    How love turns into hate
Cause I hate to love her
She is a burden to my mental
    Making me weak

    Drinking to forget
    Lost love
    Isn’t working
    Neither is being sober

    Taking time to reflect
Stepping away from the dating scene
    Often leaves me lonely
    Mentally strengthening me

    Never was one to run
    However knowing others do
    Makes closure hard
    To my psyche

    Wanting nothing more
    Except being loved
    The way a man
    Deserves to

    With respect
    Loyalty
    Faithfulness
    Always loving

    Never seeming to find that
    Often leaves me pondering
    Does it really exist
True love seems like a metaphor

    Where relationships
    Are made out of fantasies
    Making it hard
    When reality hits

    Rain drops fall from heaven
    Beating on widow seals
    Often saddens me
    Reminding me how I cried

    That day has gone
Missing her is only a memory
    From where I once was
    Lost in pain of lust

    Finding virtue
    My pure heart
    Often seems distanced
    To my dismantled thoughts

    I regress
    Standing up
    Head up
    I found my pride

    Continuing to walk righteous
    Is not a dream anymore
    I forgive her
    Forgiving self
