    Beep…One Adam 12

    Run a check
    please….

    Mercedes Benz; license UMQ
    Two-One-Five; state VA

And by the way, there's one of
    them

"Afrikan-Amerikan" (in a deep southern drawl)

    in the
    driver's seat…approaching with
    caution

    Driver's license, registration and
    insurance card!

You know why I stopped you don't
    you boy?

    Excuse me officer…

I am a well educated man
who prefers not to be insulted with a
white racist name such as boy!

Is that right? Git out of the car slowly boy!

An' keep yer hands where I can see em!

    What's the charge officer?

    Did I violate any laws?

You did when you was born boy!

    Physical pain hurts

    but…

    Emotional pain kills

Beaten with the racist billy club of life

    by a so-called man who's supposed to

    be

    my

    "EQUAL?"

    Ethnically profiled

    and humanly defiled

    Strip searched of my

    black man's dignity

Who says there's no racial profiling

in these Divided States of America?

    It's a cold world sometimes,but
keep ya head up my bruthas,we can't
stop it,but have peace in knowing that
God sees all,and then "they" will be stripped of
    their soul's eternity.
    Keep ya head up!!!

    and i hold on strong
    as he embraces my dignity
    with the braces of oppression

    officer my confession is that
i am a black man, more melanonin
than you, more insight than you
more ability than you and yet i
feel stripped of all that is me
by the simplicity of the click
from the braces on my wrist...
