Will my kids feel their culture, with pride and not shame?
Will they fell happiness, when they hear Africa's name?
Will they tell of their roots, without any lies?
Will will i see the true spirit of our people, when I look in their eyes,?

Will they feel good aand proud 2 be black?
Will they emrace their heritage and not turn their back?
If they go to Africa will they feel right at home?
Will they feel isolated and feel all alone,?
Will they have knowledge of Africa's history?
Or will it all seem like one big mystery?

When they speak Africa's name, will they say it vain?
Or will they say it with diginityand not feel no pain?
If i teach them today, will forget it tommorow?
Or will the knowledge stay in them, like it's buried in hollow?
If they read of their history, right from the start,-
Will read it with bitterness,or read it with heart?

MY KIDS SHALL BE PROUD, NEGATIVITY IS A FOE,
THE KNOWLEGDE OF THEIR ROOTS, THEY SHALL ALWAYS KNOW.
