The veil/hijab was enjoined upon believing women for their protection from being harrassed in the public; but when they're in a comfortable place around believers all focused on Allah....there is no need for it.
Brother Issa, are sunni/orthodox Muslims the only Muslims you have a problem with?
What about the "unorthodox" who call themselves Muslim, have you no disagreements with their philosophy?
The same reason they remove it when they're at home; because they are now in a safe zone.
