    IBRAHIM

Here i sit in my room alone
Hoping someone will visit my home
Not a phone call to make me happy
Nor anyone to make me smiley
Won’t you spend sometime with me?
Can’t you hear my heart’s mournful cry?
Or my souls woeful sigh? I look beyond what i see
To help me be what I must be
    When I’m in the blues
On my knees do I seek comfort?
When no one thinks of me
In my dreams do I seek solace?
Won’t you pick up the phone and give me call?
Won’t you pass by my home and say HELLO?
Why do you make me suffer so much?
All I need is your gentle touch
Here I sit in my room alone
Writing this poem on my own.

    QUEENTSWANA

You've been on my mind for a very long time,
you seem to take full control of my mind.

You're alone there ...as I am here,
when it's plain to see, how much we both care.

I see you everyday, as you pass my home,
I knew in my heart that your soul was alone.

I knew that we cried for each others affection,
that we longed to make that love connection.

I call you everyday ...by choice,
then hand up the moment I hear your voice.

You answers the phone, my whole body freeze,
cause I'm always in fear that I'm not what you need.

Yet! I'm willing to take that step called "Love"
and pray to the heavens and stars above...

That all your lonely days and mines,
are finally left on a trail behind.

I do love you my KING!
    come to your QUEEN

First, I felt the loneliness as I read Ibrahim's words, we can all relate to tht feeling indeed. And then as I read Queent's, I saw that pinhole of light at the end of the tunnel, signaling hope. This collaboration certainly got my attention poets, great job you two!

Awww, this piece makes me wanna cry!
The romance, the pain and lonliness,
the desire to connect to that special someone!
Like two trains passing in opposite directions.

Great Collab! It really touches the heart
    and soul!
