HEY! Sista? With that korean hair on your
head...I thought you said you were a Queen at least that's what you said.
Then why do you not have reign over your own body.
TLC said it, "What puts them in a position to make you feel so **** unpretty?"
Make you want to toss your straight hair and bat your fake blue eyes and act witty.
Girl a real Queen is naturally wise and never giddy.
She takes pride in herself and in her city.
Her children rise up and call her blessed,
is the core of this message.
And what message are you sending to yours?
That the beauty is not in the person, but in the clothes and shoes that we wear bought or stole from the store.
I know that your intentions of Royalty may be founded in truth.
But the fact is that you have not elevated your mind.
Been truthful to yourself and God!
Show mercy or prudence in your ways...Do you know what that means my sister? What are you Queen of?
    The Queen of confusion?
    The Queen of Betrayal?
    The Queen of Slothfulness?
    The Queen of Madness?
    The Queen of War?
    The Queen of whoredom?
    The Queen of boredom?
    Who never gives back...
Or a Queen after the tribe of David, the lineage of Christ , ancestors of Nubian greatness, of unquestionable fate.
Choose wisely my friend my sister
    before it's to late!

    off the chain
it's good to see that "you people" still keep it real
I have missed you but as a black man I got's to say
I love some weaves and thank God for their invention
but I do see where you are coming from and I agree that if we believed the rhetoric that we purport to support we would not need to imitate to appreciate.

    Thanks !

*Of course this poem was to create a dialogue about being "Real Queens" and not "Barbie doll imitations", and of course I am not knocking the weave, I have been unbeweaveable myself , before I got back to Natural with my curls without chemicals and waves with out a cap...I am happy to be naturally nappy!

    Blessings On Your House!
