I believe all schools should teach African history all over the world!

Teaching Black History

New Jersey passed the law in 2002 mandating the teaching of black history in the 593 public school district.
Two other states, New York and Illinois passed similar laws, knowing how difficult it is to effect change.
New Jersey created that amistad commission to over see the process.
It’s members wrote lessons plans, organize events and trained teachers.
Lo and behold, four years later, the state has discovered that many schools have failed to comply.

This sounds like a another challenges members here at Destee's
can partake in.

We could get pettions signed for enforcing the laws for teaching Black History in schools. We could send letters to the senators, congress, civil rights representatives, activist, and the board of education reminding them
of this passed law which has been neglected.

What cha think about that?
