Psalm 23:1 reads: "The Lord is my shepherd..."

    SCENARO

¡. If Mr A calls Mr B as his driver, it implies Mr B uses the personal vehicle of Mr A.

¡¡. Jim is my dancer. This translates as either Jim dances to my amusement or he dances in my drama troupe.

Therefore, where are the sheep of the christians, to which God is a shepherd ? Just wondering!!

    Welcome, AK!

Interesting analogies, but I'm not sure how they relate to Christians and sheep. Could you explain your reasoning? :10500:

. It keeps me thinking, yet arriving at no answer. Hence, I also seek the knowledge of the Scholars here. Probably, someone out there might help clear the air. I am also more than confused about that statement.

Speaking directly to your question first, the "sheep" are everywhere Akanyi, they are all over the place. Secondly, its always best to not take a verse out of context, when searching for the deeper meaning. To complete the first sentence, it looks this way:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

And further, to complete the meaning:

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
