    Peace and Blessings Family,

There is a store not far from me, run by a Family it seems, that are all darker than me, but have very straight black hair.

Some of the Family Members are light, but there are about 3 or 4 of them, that are very dark!

I'm wondering if they consider themselves Black or white?

I want to ask them what race or nationality are they, but i'm not sure how to phrase the question properly.

I don't want to offend them, but i'd like to know if they consider themselves Black, white, or what ... and ... what is their nationality (where are they from).

How do i phrase this properly Family?

Do i ask one question first (which one first), and then the other, or ask both at the same time?

Give me step by step instructions please! :)

    Thank You!

Do they have a Middle Eastern accent? If so, just ask them where they are from. If they say India(especially East India), then more likely then not, they consider themselves white/Aryan. If they are from like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Morocco, or any other major Muslim countries, then they are Black when its convenient, but in most cases they do despise whites.

Thank You Brother Knowledge Seed ...

You've made it way easy ... i'll just ask where they are from ... duh! :)

That will open the door to conversation, and if appropriate, i'll go further, asking if they consider themselves Black, white, or what.

    Kewl ... Thanks!

Now we're back where we started.

Why do you want to know how they consider themselves?

Because my mind wondered it, and i try to satisfy my mind's curiosities, when possible.

It seems you are not satisfied with this response.

Is there something else you'd rather me say ... something better ... ?

Nope, it is not a matter of me beibng satisfied. We're going in a circle. You want to know how they consider themselves. Your mind wandered how they consider themselves because you want to know. Circular.

I usually just ask people if they are white people if I want to know.

Are you a white person? That is how I phrase the question.
