Here are some passages in the bible that I know of that tells us things about science long before they were discovered by scientists.

The Earth is round(Isaiah 40:22).Scientists and scholars used to believe that the world was flat until the 3rd century B.C. The book of Isaiah was written in the 8th century B.C.

Isaiah 40:22(NIV) " He(God)sits enthronrd above the circle of the earth"


Atmospheric Circulation(Ecclesiastes 1:6). Atmospheric circulation is the large scale movement of air which(together with the smaller ocean circulation)distribute heat around the Earth. Scientists didn't have a firm grasp on this area of science until the 1960's yet the the bible speaks about it in the book of Ecclesiastes which was written around 250 B.C.

Ecclesiastes 1:6(NIV) " The wind blows to the south and turns to the north;round and round it goes ever returning on it's course".


The Field Of Gravity(Job 26:7). This book of the bible was written in when the Greeks thought that the Earth was being held upon the shoulders of Atlas the Titan and Hindus thought that the earth rested on back of a giant turtle.

Job 26:7(NIV) "he(God)suspends the earth over nothing"


The Biological Importance Of Blood To Life(Leviticus 17:11). People in the ancient world used to believe that you could cure illness by blood letting

Leviticus 17:11(NIV) "For the life of a creature is in the blood"

Men couldn't have written the bible.There is no way they could have possibly have known about these things in ancient times.This proves that the bible comes from the one and only God and not from men.

Don't believe the Devil's lies, the bible is the truth and the word of God. Pray to God for wisdom and understanding and the truth will be revealed to you .

Let me tell you something right now....you are either very young or just plain ignorant (which means you don't know). I never blame a person for being ignorant because we are all ignorant of something. I do however blame a person "for not wanting to know". In other words, regardless of what one believes or thinks to be true, that should never stop them from investigating other avenues that they may not be aware of that may possibly add to their growth.

I read that B.S. you just wrote and thought to myself; "what darn people could he be talking about?...cause nothing you wrote applied to our people. Our people were not ignorant of one thing you wrote! It was "white people who were ignorant of those things...which means that you are caught up in a white reality that has captured your mind, your soul and your beliefs, cut and dry !!!!

You need a real education outside of these forums. Other than that, since you believe in the white man's concept of God...MAY GOD BLESS YOU!! You had the chance to come into chat yesterday cause I know you read the post. Since you chose not to come where many issues relating to the Bible were discussed and cleared up using just the Bible to do it....Post what ever you want to concerning the Bible because right now the only person you're trying to convince is yourself.
