    Press Release

    On

    Reparation

( Please Pass On To Other Media,Foreign And Domestic )
    >
    > Due to the transatlantic slave trade, we, as a people more than 250
    million
    > in number across the region of the Americas, do not have our human rights.
    Our
    > human rights are the right to speak our mother tongue, enjoy our culture,
    and
    > practice our original religion.
    >
    > Our human rights are priority number one.

Absent of human rights, everything is
    > null and void. We do not want reparations only in the form of money.

We want reparations in the form of restoration of our human rights and
    money.

It is impossible for the United Nations to recognize us as a people, the
    > Afrodescendants, and not sanction the countries that have deprived us of
    our
    > human rights.

The resurrection of our human rights, in itself, demands
    > reparations be paid. There is a direct channel we are pursuing through the
    United
    > Nations to acquire these human rights and reparations, which will be
    discussed
    > later.
    >
    > Right now, we are trying to get everyone on the same page.

We are not asking the United States to give us a dime.

    We want more than that.

    We want great substance.

We want our human rights restored first, and then we want money,
    > fertile land, sea- and air-going vessels, materials with which to build,
and everything a nation needs to do for self and most certainly a land that
will reflect who we are and a government that will respect our Human
    Rights.

As long as we are disunited and
    > multi-sided, we work to the benefit of America, which does not want us to
    receive
    > reparations.
    >
    > We all are absent a legal vehicle, in America, to achieve reparations.

The fight for reparations must be fought in a legal, international arena, as
well as within a spiritual context and with Internal organization and
solidarity, such will make it necessary for us to achieve reparations in
    the UN.

It is important for you to know my Sisters and Brothers, that
    Afrodescendants, here in America
    > and in nineteen other countries, have accomplished organization and
    solidarity
    > in the UN.

However, we Afrodescendants here in America, must establish
    > internal organization and solidarity among ourselves, as we are the
    premier leaders
    > of Afrodescendants.

We must come together for the expressed purpose of achieving reparations.

Amongst ourselves here in America, we must establish internal governance,
and we must, collectively, be on the same page.
    >
    > All For Reparations and Emancipation (AFRE) is a non-governmental
    > organization in consultative status in the UN.

Our collective support of AFRE will
    > demonstrate our internal organization, solidarity, and determination to
    achieve
    > reparations for all Afrodescendants here in America and throughout the
    slavery
    > Diaspora.

Let us be undivided and stand in unity in our struggle for our human
    > rights and our fight for reparations.

We must be totally aware of our most reasonable option, when it come to
our freedom, justice and independence, in regards to Reparation and its
    use.
