Pan Africanism : Powerful Debate; Dr Molefi Asante/ Kwame Ture; Both bringing Wisdom

I'm not here to play games. Either answer the question or step!

What right do you have to command me to step?

None at all. I will let you know when I finish writing the Book "Pan Africanism for Dummies". You might find it useful.

The video is dated. Much has changed since brother Kwame's death but unless you knew him personally you are clueless how and why things changed.

You say you are not here to play games but that is all you are doing. Playing yourself. Have fun'

The same right you have to LIE LIKE A DOG on Kwame Ture, then when asked to back your lies up with the video, you start talking crazy about going to some institute! And with that, until you answer the question your LIES provoked, you need to.... step... off this thread.

Your ignorance on the subject of Pan-Africanism is getting wearisome. Your pretensions to knowing anything about the subject is irritating to the point of nerve-grating insufferable. Your attempt to turn Kwame Ture, former Black Panther turned Pan-Africanist into a rank assimilationist is verging on the criminal. Either add something to the discussion based on the video, or leave it alone!

He clearly does NOT identify himself as an "Afrocentrist" and as he pints out Pan Africanism existed before the philosophy of Afrocentrism.

Where in the video does he say he was not an Afrocentrist?
If you ask that question then you do not understand the context of the debate and why Asante asked him the question in regards to Afrocentrism/euro centrism which he was not given the opportunity to answer.

It was a very simple question to a statement you attributed to Ture. And your response was to attribute YOUR ignorance to me.... because you can't answer the question, because he said no-such-thing. You have a thread about Ture in this forum. It was started long before this thread. I know because I had already decided not to "attempt" to engage you in any meaningful conversation about Ture or any of the other black greats of whom you persist in trying to re-write their histories and philosophies. I knew it would end up exactly as this exchange... with you posturing to cover your baseless blasphemy of black men who gave their lives for black people and causes, to your attributing a we-are-the-world integrationist/assimilationist philosophy to them....ergo, I left YOUR thread alone.

Now I see you come into THIS thread, spewing that.... those "untruths." Since it's "in MY face" I ask a simple question - where on the video does Ture speak those words, and simpleminded evasions and projection (of your ignorance onto me) is what results. Understand this: every black person is not a dilettane. Some of us take our Pan-African sentiments seriously. Some of us are very well-versed in the greats you pretend to admire, even while you re-write their histories to fit your integrationist/assimilationist philosophy. You're going to be called on any and all lies you perpetrate. Not everyone is afraid to take your blasphemy on. I, for one, tried to evade you, but yea, I'm one of those who is not afraid. :news:

What EXACTLY have I stated that equates to LYING about brother Kwame Ture?

Nothing!

As a MAN who knew Kwame as a member if the AAPRP I knew Kwame. I worked with Kwame on the same committee and organized speaking tours for him on college campuses. Kwame defined Pan Africanism as the total liberation and unification of Africa under scientific socialism.

Scientific socialism.

Patrice Lamumba was a socialist.

Malcolm X was a socialist.

Kwame Nkrumah was a socialist.

Steve Biko was a socialist.

Sekou Toure was a socialist.

Amilcar Cabral was a socialist.

Kwame Ture was a socialist.

Huey P Newton was a socialist.

You are the one who responded to me first, while I have been ignoring you, yet you tell me to step.

Talk about criminal! I never referred to Kwame as a rank assimilationist and nothing I have stated suggests he is. You are the one here LYING.

I have a suggestion for sister Destee. Please create a forum on Afrocentrism so that these people can have a platform on Afrocentrism, instead of polluting this forum on Pan Africanism. Please!

In spite of all your pretensciousness nothing you have stated you are well versed on Pan Africanism and surely you did not, do not, and in the future will not under or over stand brother Kwame Ture or Revolutionary Pan Africanism.

I have been here much longer than you, will take no orders from you, and will not be bullied by you or anyone else.
