That house ****** is quitting. Bush didn't need him any more is the case.
He submitted his letter last Friday. He is announcing the news today.

Bush is doing a lot of cleaning house, but this is a move the particularly raises eyebrows. Colin Powell has disappointed me a lot in the last 4 years, but I am not happy with this move! He was critical about the war in Iraq (the way it was planned & organized), and seemed to be one of the few in Bush's cabinet capable of "independant thought". I shudder to hear who his replacement will be!

They brainwashed him anyway. He was not in there representing Black America; He was doing what Amerikkka paid him to do. Like I said in another thread, I like difference makers. Well, difference makers don't quit, and he is not a difference maker. Put a black man in the white house without being brainwashed representing Black America, he/she, or they have all my kudos.

I wonder how many Blacks would have voted for Bush if they knew Colin Powell was going to resign? He always displayed Powell & Rice like they were the latest fashion.

    Burden Lifted

I'm glad to see to brother was in the position of Secretary of State but I'm even more glad that his conscience caught up with him and finally start having a hard time swallowing the crap that the Bush adminstration had him doing. Colin Powell is a soldier not a policians and a corporate excutive. This is why the Republican Party will never consider him as a Presidential Candidate, along with him being African American of course.

    Good point brother

I wonder if a well known African American Minister and Gospel song artist, From New York, who was at the Republican convention sitting behind Pres. Bush in support would have voted for Bush if he would have known Colin Powell would resigned? Yep he probably would have.
