A Watziname/Da Street So'ja Collab

Yo Watz - ladies first

Homelessness: the injustice of poverty
Begging the landlord again didn't work for me
Relatives got tired of giving to my charity
Fair weather friends got lost in the storm
I doubt if the White House has a room for free
Too busy ignoring wartime casualties

Is money everything? I say no
Moola never made the sun rise or a flower grow
But being one with nature, takes on a different meaning
When you've been evicted with kids in tow
There's no room at the inn, be it Ramada or Holiday
The world sure is cold, when your bank account is sub zero

In the middle of poverty you'll find overt
Overt despair, the depths of which is covert
What's in a name when it's been dragged in the dirt?
Hobo, Bum, derelict, yes those names gotta hurt
Should be calling out the gov'ment power structure instead
putting their apathetic assets on alert

Homelessness: the injustice of poverty
When the banker owns your country
Trust me you'll be a victim of highway robbery
Bill collectors hoggin' me
Forget Republican and Democrat
Federal Reserve is your sovereignty

Can humans be this selfish? I say yes
Money , the great emancipator but when you don't have
It's the leading cause of stress
And without it you can't get treatment for the cancer in your breast
Lose all your money and murphy's law is your kin
And you're wondering what could be coming next

In-jus-tice It's just us
Thinking of new words I can use to cuss
I'm Da So'ja of Da Apocalypse waiting for the ultimate rush
For the bankers to go bust*
In God I Trust and free my people*"
is not asking too much

*only if they keep refusing to help in this noble cause especially the World Bank

*"don't make lack of resources a curse to the people of the world
