Greetings,
Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome (PTSS) is a suppressed psychological disorder that is deep in the subconscious of every black person in the world. It reflects the knowledge of being a descendant of those who were enslaved, yet not having the proper understanding or forum to vent the frustrations that surface once in a while in relation to how our ancestors were treated. Even in knowing this we still are not able to get the proper rehabilitation or compensation that will ease the mental anguish or allow our people to feel relieved of that anxiety.
We should feel blessed to know that reparations are finally being discussed at the highest levels of congress with the hearing that began on H.R. 40 on 12-18-07. African-Americans can eventually prepare to get reparations and seek rehabilitation for this mental imposition.
In memory of our ancestors,
Brotha Pruitt
