K step by step.
Search for nodeControls in Template Search.
Only two templates come up. Go to the first one which is node_forum_level_2
Search for nodeControls inside node_forum_level_ 2 template
Underneath nodeControls, post this:
<a href="{xen:link forums/create-thread, $forum}" class="postnTopic"></xen:if>
hit save and add that extra.css code above this post.
Search for nodeControls in Template Search.
