this week in Philly there were two notorious crimes.
a brother stood downtown at rush hour and removed all his clothes.
he then dived into the window of a police car.
the police shot him four times but he still managed to drive a way until he crashed into a bus.
he died.
it was released that he was bi polar.
another brother shot a white woman downtown.
when they caught him he said it was because she exposed him to harmful radiation (she was an x ray tech).
he was paranoid schizophrenic.
when they checked they found that he had been killing people for years in the community.
if someone gave him "the evil eye" he would track them down and shoot them.
to the police these were unexplained homicides.
he would still be out there killing people if he had not made the mistake of killing that white woman.
both of these men suffered from mental illness, but in Philly they just turn you out into the streets to fend for yourself.
many of the homeless here are actually mentally ill.
they lead a hellish life on the streets.
i think it's wrong but that's life in the big city.
