Loving me for me
Sometimes it's hard to see
The beauty and the tenderness
That's inside me
Because on everyside I'm pressed
Body needing vindication
Slowing yearning for emancipation
Just yearning to be touched
The torcher of unrequited love
The cravings of sex
THe benefits of feeling erect
The temporary high
Yet the permanent low
The eurphoric passion
You wish could be shared with someone who you'd love to know
The mistakes
There are many that I've made
Just want to pick myself back up again
The men that I've known
And who have abandoned
Left me alone
And I let them be free
Wanting to explore
To a land where I'll hunger no more
And never regret
A night with a stranger that was slept

You know the feeling that I feel
It's hidden and oh so real
The lust let it open and flood

Quieting the yearnings
Of feelings I can't hide
Wishing they would subside
Feeling I'm closer
Because I know myself

Getting there is half the battle
And when you get there
What's left.
Saying, " I can do it on my own"
And find out the lonesome has invaded your home
Turing the key to walk inside
An apartment
No voices to feel the silence
This jouney has been an adventure
I feel so good because
I am more deeply passionately richer
And a lot more quicker
To resolve the conflicts within my soul
That have left me bitter

Just wanting to know
And I"m still full of hope
I've left my "coat" behind
Trusting in one
Who can't be seen
But His love has become my pride

There's no where to go except for up high
When you've reached your lowest low
You find that there's nothing to loose
And you can only gain and you can't deny

As the years go by
You catch the drift
Life solemn tide
The rivers
flowing so effortless

And life pulls you along
With it's unforgotten song
Not knowing what to expect
In my poetry
I must reflect
