My self esteem stands in double digit equations
The numerals lull me into a false sense of security
Because it falls behind the invisible zero
Can any consciously count that low
Until I watch the train come into the station from afar
Then I learn again what it means to have restraint

    Go behind the pole… Jump
Lean against the wall … Jump
You don’t have to listen to these thoughts … Jump
Fight it till the breeze of the train passes … Jump now Jump
Then you will gain some more time on that empty clock

I notice a lot of things
Like how less panicked I feel today
I read peoples faces like the daily news
I can see who feels like me in eternal minutes
It allows me a stay of execution

I see white women that feel
Came from homes and fell into pits
I see the woman that circles the platform
    Manifest hail Mary in footsteps
She shouts the urges to eradicate self in ritual motions and phrases

I think in thought-land she has no feelings today
I must be stronger than glue of the gap
Should I tap into her universe to reflect
How green the grass fails to grow
I want to tell her the unspeakable thoughts

Then I hear the train coming
Like an ominous reminder of my non life
Stay in the middle of the platform
Do not look at its arrival
Cause you know you want to live
    You don’t have to fall
You don’t have to leave today

I find how unimportant I am to myself
That external things are my lifeline
That somehow I no longer matter to me
Yet I remember how the importance of others
    Light the match of action
I loved myself once so deeply that I waited

To connect to a time when love was a given
Songs that say do not cry for me
Are thoughts of please do not say the lies today
If tomorrow is another way to say nothing really matters
I strive to run through days and minute and moments
Cause nothing really says to stay here and I am learning how to leave

I wonder if I can find a fight in this abyss
Cause I want to see how long I can silence these thoughts
Make the world know the other side of misuse
When do we tell them that is better to speak up than to hold it in
The sin is the silence and the deafening nothing

    I would like to volunteer
    Not to die today
Not to give in to the feeling
Cause I hear the call to jump
The double digits tell me I am not depressed
That somehow I passed the sound barrier of sadness
Standing in a land of choice
I notice when I look at my feet
There is no platform beneath me
Nirvana becomes the place that we silence all thought

Can you comprehend that hell is a position I have been
That the demons that greeted me have human hands
That the fire flickered in I love you spaces
Reality was the fantasy I could not afford
Poetry is the heaven above the abyss

that is a kewl metaphor for this prose. I might run with that thought.

I like a fish averting animals in the water of life to reach the freefall of aquatic water falls to embrace doves of peace and hope to find deep lagoons and white sand beaches. The coral interlace like orange barb wire with the beauty that creates an hypnotic trance while viewing underwater dimensions and Nemo forgot to visit.

    LOL

    Peace
