"Testament"

Sometimes I think I’ve been forgotten
When I close my eyes and speak
No one is there to listen
Silence has followed me for 3 years now
And I’ve sinned
God knows
The things that I became caught up in
Ignoring big momma’s words of wisdom
And it’s not fair how I remember
I remember to ask in solitude only
When times get bad
Instead of counting all my blessings
Respecting this gift of life I have
When evil held that knife to God’s throat
Who was I to speak on his behalf?
Nah, I fell back in line with the masses
Again chasing them girls with the juicy azzes
GOD wasn’t a fashionable thing
Jeez, I hope they didn’t hear me when I just speak his name
But little did I know
One day I’d ended up all alone
All the material **** was temporary
Even the love in my life
I could’ve kept it
But I made God’s love secondary
When will I decide to give up this **** and submit
Time will tell, and I know it’s running out
But for now I thank God for my testament

A testament is the most unique gift a servant can have

And it’s all mine
