    Play me...slow
    Turn me on
like you'd turn on a radio
    adjusting the frequencies
    just so

    Play me your quiet storm
Let the warm droplets hit my window pane
I'll dim the lights and press my face against the glass
Feeling the pulse of the rhythmic refrain

    Play me like you'd play
a grand piano, with style and grace
tinkling ivories, compelling lonely hands to clasp,
and sedentary feet to twirl to a romanticized pace

    Play me gingerly
Take my heartstrings like harp strings
Slowly pluck each one, taking to heart
the depths that each vibration brings

    Play me...
    Oh, you know that song
The one where you're supposed to know
the melody that everyone else seems to get wrong
But now even you have forgotten where all
    the sharps and flats belong

Perhaps if you took the time to clearly read the notes
instead of quickly reading into them, you'd see
that if I am to be played at all
    Play me...
    slow

    Outstanding, Sister!'

This poem played ME slow. Hitting the right spots, evoking the strong emotions. Indeed, your writing is always a treat.

Thank you, and longing to see more.

Play me slow... dang, that's a classic.

    One.

Watz, you ought to be in WIDE syndication.

I'll play you slowly, and frequently.
