I just ran across this article, and it got me to thinking.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090405/ap_on_re_us/one_man_s_apology

I'm not sure what to think about him. My gut tells me that if it wasn't for the fact that he is old and about to probably die, that his so-called change of heart would not be happening.
My gut also is telling me that he is not being exactly honest in all his racist activities. I mean, if he's done just some of the things that I'm reading about in this article, then there is probably a lynching or two mixed up in there that he's not mentioning. Just the things that he's spoke about tells me that there was a lot of venom & hatred in him, and that to me says lynching.
I'm sorry, but his acceptance of blacks now reeks of fear of going to hell, and not a sincere change of heart to see blacks as human beings.
