    Eccentric,
    God-centric;
    give me individuality instead of
forcing me to be your diluted
    version of Afro-centric.
    Beautiful,
    Ecclectic,
    Regal
    and
    Intensive.
    A day at the beach,
    under the cloud of infinity,
swiming in the seas of my reality.
Aye, be careful of the pull of the undertow,
Man, I'm chillin and pickin' my afro.

SweetKoffee Soul, a cup of steaming
green tea, butter pecan muffins and
    "Beautiful" being sung by Tweet.
    My Southern Hummingbird,
like popcorn to the Movie Theatre's
    show,
aye; be careful of the pull of the undertow.
Man, I'm chillin and pickin' my afro

    Cool, Calm, Collected and Consise,
My words, divinely inspired, freeze like fire,
    and burn like ice.
My device is purely cheese before the mice.
Take some advice, lay down and go to sleep,
The shepherd always searches for his lost sheep.

    Feeling good right now.
    Everybody loves the sunshine,the air's
    breeze, 77 degrees of innocent,
    burnished, lyrics to my poetry becoming the keys;
aye, be careful of the pull of the undertow.
Man, I'm chillin and pickin' my afro.

    Solitude,
    Tranquility
    my bible opened before me.
    Revelations
    and Prophetic clarifications
    become the qualifications for living
    within this holy convocation.
You see, serving God is my Vocation.
    But I'm still me.
    Still mellow, laidback, and 4-C;
a new man in a new form, rebirth and
    a newly created identity.
God and I , joined in equivalancy and I still flow.
Aye, be careful of the pull of the undertow.
Man, I'm still chillin,' livin' a new life and pickin' my afro.

Do you think you can grow?

    Aaawe, yes...I feel growth...

as a matter of fact...I became.... as a winding ivy within this peace...
Intertwined, inside every stanza, syllable, image, emotion...
I left no vowel unturned...I needed to get to the core of this poets message
and the more I absorbed...the more I grew and grew and grew...
Brother...if we ever manage to put our words together I foresee
    and abiogenesis of verse...
to which no reader has yet to "experience"....
Everytime I read you...I feel as though I'm being baptized
and believe me...I'll go under however many times your gift
    evokes...the flow

So flow on...the dove descends upon me every time
