Pan-Africanism : Perspectives on Pan-Africanism and Pan-Arabism

Brother, I meant that I am embarrassed. I mentioned Sister Soulja, not knowing that you personally knew her. It's embarrassing for me to misspeak.

Still, it's good to read more about you. Our ancestors work in mysterious ways. :)

I see. No problem my brother. Yes, the Ancestors sure do!

Peace!

I didn't say anything about Jews.

I said Zionists. Zionism is one of the greatest threats to the stability of Africa.

Zionists are the union of Israeli and Europeon (British and American) imperialism and they are monopolists bent on the destabilization and raping of Africa's natural resources.

Zionism is a greater threat to Arabs than Africans. Zionism is also over hyped and its danger is a propaganda by both white supremacists and Arab fundamentalists, both the latter posed a greater threat than the imaginary Zionist threat. The enemies of your enemy is your friend...well most of the time. Jews are raping Africa's of natural resources? You do some research before you regurgitate a slightly modified version of propaganda taken from white supremacist's cook book. You probably don't even know about Chinese aggressive expansion in Africa.

Israel from my perspective is a rogue white chess piece that can be utilized by blacks. It is superlatively important that Israel remains a thorn in the butt of the Arabs to check their southward expansion. With a little more social engineering, it is also possible to remind the Jews that whiteys tried to exterminate them.

"The C.I.A. backed the EPLF to replace the ELF, so it could control events."

"The EPLF betrayed Eritrea, with he help of the C.I,A., which, once again, got it wrong, no pun intended."

Of course, the united states government was a major supporter of the nepotistic Haile Selassie regime in Ethiopia as well.

It was exactly this support of the EPLF and the "red baiting" of "the Party" which led me to leave what had become a counter-revolutionary "Front organization" based in the Pentagon!

I'm from Eritrea. Did you opine that-then the EPLF betrayed Eritrea, or ? Truly confused by what your point is. The CIA had no say or stand in deciding the future between EPLF and ELF. There was a dissent and strife within ELF that caused the split. ELF is a rebel group of liberation fighters, of a primary select (predominantly muslim) tribes who sought to establish a Muslim state in Eritrea. EPLF was marxist, and its make-up was by far inclusive (included all tribes, creeds, and both sexes) and came around the downfall of Haile Selassie by the Marxist-socialist Derg.

The CIA backed Haile Selassie, afterwards, for a temporary period Derg (then Mengistu Haile Mariam leading), then shifted to the Soviet Russians.

Not a fan of Haile Selassie, but I don't agree with the accuracy of way you depict history...btw, i'm of a muslim background...who are these "christian terrorists", are you referring the non-orthodox denominations? Haile Selassie persecuted and undermined them, as he recognized them as agents of external/foreign forces. By suppressing the sentiment and practice between say, the Catholics + Protestants + Pentecostals, and their respective churches, and marginalizing them, he tried to get them to return to orthodox and do away with the others' beliefs.

He did partially believe these christian 'converts' were heretics, but more importantly, he thought they were helping others infiltrate and divide Ethiopia for conquering.

He did not depose Lij Iyasu, that's an overstretch. Lij Iyasu excommunicated and therefore disallowed to the succession of the throne.

Haven't gotten a chance to read these other articles you all are talking about.

With regards to the Pan-Arabism, bit subjective, but nevertheless...as someone who born and grew up in Saudi, and visited shortly thereafter but last 4 years stopped...what we all are witnessing or the media is portraying, is not in fact an 'arab revolution' or 'pan-arabism'. This is extremist hysteria.

There's a video that spotlights this with strong evidence from RussiaToday -- "
Michael Scheuer: Washington is fighting an enemy that doesn't exist"

IWhat does that dude hae to do withthis discussion?

By the way, I found Comrade Dr. Kwame Toure's essay called "Marxism-Leninism and Nkrumahism" in Balck Scholar Magazine. I posted it on my fudaa.blogspot.com. I pur half a day's work into tranascribing it so that we can all see it in cyber space. Please do not ignore this valuable peice of literature. I am sure that it will help to clarify some of this confusion that we are currently experiencing.

To the extent that I can receive enough positive response to the new information that I am making available to the Afrian Nation, BISMI-ALLAH, I will be tranascribing many more very important pieces of literature and publishing them for all to see and study in cyber space. History is our best teacher.

Forward!
LOL!

How can anyone defend Haile Selassie, who had become a puppet of us imperialism, and who also was a CHRISTIAN, while then criticizing the "Christian terrorists". LOL!

Do you even know how he came to power?!

He deposed his cousin Lij Iyasu, who had attempted to convert to ISLAM!

Like I said before, I dont know how old you are, but I clearly remember the us support for the Shah of Iran, the Selassie regime in Ethiopia, Idi Amin in Uganda, Siad Barre in Somalia, Mobutu in Zaire, in fact.....a series of Military rulers and warloards (see Sudan, Chad and even their support for the reactionry Anwar Sadat), and Somalia, in particular, was initially suported by the Soviets, who switched support to the DERGE, while the CIA funded the Barre military DICTATORSHIP and used Somalia as an outpost for millitry intervention in the "Horn".

As far as "Nkrumahism" in soncerned, I need not refer to brother Kwame or any "revision" of Nkrumahism.

Nkrumah was NOT a Muslim. In fact, he was a CHRISTIAN, attended a CHRISTIAN university, and when he wrote CONSCIENCISM, some came to equate "Nkrunahism" with Christian Pragmatism.

You keep "red-baiting" overlooking who some of Nkrumah's main ALLIES were.

For example, look at two of his closest associates within the Pan-African movement.

George Padmore....COMMUNIST.

W.E.B. DuBois...COMMUNIST.

C.L.R. James.....SOCIALIST.

The fact is, the us government overthrew Nkrumah because, "Nkrumah was doing more to undermine our interests thn any other black African. In reaction to his strongly pro--Communist leanings, the new military regime is almost pathetically pro-Western."

Here the CIA admits he was overthrown because of "his strongly pro-Communist leanings."

Seems that you have forgotten the purpose of the Kwame Nkrumh Ideological Institute.

If anyone does a web search on the topic "Nkrumah and Communism" there are at lest 53,000 sources. I am sure the majority recognize Nkrumah to have been a Christian Nationalist who embreaced Communism.

Or as this was reformed by James..."Marxist Humanism".

It is obvious to me why some folks left CONSCIENCISM off of their "work study group list".

Way over your heads![/quote]
