One day will be the day
My eyes will close for an eternal nap
In a split second of thought before the darkness
I will ask "Have I tried?"
Did I do my best and then do some more
Did I give my all and then give more
Did I go from tired to exhausted from effort alone
Did I find time for others
    Giving them the same effort
Did I get up when life put me down
    Did I have plan B to Z
    Did I try them all

One day, when that day comes
I hope to have one last gratifying smile
    And through my final breath
    I will answer "Yes"

    Oh!

You brought me to my feet on this one, BE!!
See me rise in a STANDING OVATION!! and complete appreciation of your thought provoking scribes this morning!

Would that we all live so diligently that we can answer "yes" ...before we rest.

    Have mercy!

    Thank You

In my final breath, that is exactly what I want to say...Yes.
Then I want to hear Him say...Well done.

That's why everyday must count towards my goals...my life.
Don't wanna be wasting time...I may not have much of it left.
