We exist in a perpetual motion coma
hanging' on the corners from Flatbush
to Tacoma /heat on hip/ crips killin' bloods
bloods killin' crips and all we see are
misguided warriors outlining the concrete
when the only color that should matter
is brown or black or whatever shade you
classify yourself as/we got this affliction bad,
that self hate with no ending date and bodies
remain fresh on the pavement the process
of enslavement that entraps brothers minds
and sisters behinds with signs of "open to the
public" around her pubic and all the "too"cool cats
run up in the kitty....and now it's a pity that
this misguided sisters life is designated "shytty"
disease infestations contamination has her life
on the clock now...and we are in a perpetual
motion coma...laughing and dancing, dunking
and rapping bling blinging and sing singing
while brain dead...we some talented folks and
what happened to the talented tenth that
DuBois spoke of? Lack of self love has too many
black folks leaving the others behind with no
information how they made it/see it's not the man
it's selfishness that enslaves us and the pathological
sickness to leave one's family behind while on course to
sit down and sit with other folks to eat the main course/
no chitterlings, no corn bread, no black eye peas,
no collard greens, no hog maws, no sweet potatoe pie,
no butter beans, no okra.....no...no...no..no
no **** soul...pass been revoked...no ghetto
for double agents
no ghetto for double agents no ghetto for
self induced comatose people refusing to wake
up and continue to kill us by not caring for the
people...Huey, Harriet, Martin, Malcolm and Medgar,
Marcus, Crispus, and all of you that fought for us
I pray that you did not die in vain so please set the alarm
to try and wake up the masses like the grass does
when touched by the rain.

You are igniting my mental. Speaking of Coliseum....This should be Spoken in such a place. I wanted to stand up, jump up and down, wave my hand side to side and shout, show them what they don't see. Your poetry reflects your name, blak in action.
