Black People : PBS host Smiley calls meeting to urge black agenda

Lol, he doesn't put blame on black militants, he puts blame on people who waste money on stuff they don't need while their children need clothes and food. He's talking to criminals and irresponsibility. The F outta here with all that "feel me/keep it real" nonsense, we need to stop with all these catchy sayings and master the language.

First of all:

You don't agree?

Just say so!

Second of all:

There was and is a tendancy of some supporters (if not some of those past movement mainstays) to blame the present fate of our folk on some of the ideas etc. of the other...

And, Cosby's cheap shots were at the expense of some ideas etc. my life was or is a reflection of, in my opinion, i. e,. with him blurring distinction between some immature single mom--who just felt and thought giving her kids 'african' sounding names would be 'cool'--as opposed to folk who do live it (as in are reflections of african traditions etc.)--which was dishonest/misleading/awfully petty/and or incredibly stupid!

It also kinda sorta revealed how out of touch he truly is, i. e., when it comes to what we're up against--via the here and now...

Even a past movie--like the RIVER NIGER--exposed how much times had changed--i. e., from the heyday of Newton and the Panthers--to the regression and retreat--which helped to usher in today's New Jack 'street life' subculture etc.

But any and and all movements eventually reveal their weak points as well as strong ones:

And , yes, the regression and retreat is partly the peoples fault, but not all of it is!

I. e., the people chose the "I too am an American" /Civil Rights/inclusive/etc. route, though it came at the time the white reactionary in the White House responded with a benigh (societal) neglect approach, whereas one can guess those Great Society programs his forebear ushered in just disappeared by the way of a lack of further funding, etc.

Flashforward...

Also in this era of 'Patroit' acts:

We also kinda sorta need and should want to be cautious and wary--whatever else we do need and want to say about the origins of our peoples present plight(s)...

:fyi:

Good points.

Concerning what you said about caution.

this is why i try to not be too specific in addressing questions about what i am doing.

sometimes the enemy within just baits us into 'you aint doing nothin' 'what are you doin' type arguments in gathering counter-intelligence.

but know this is not just result of benign social neglect. the reaction you wrote of pointedly attacked affirmative action and pro-immigration reforms which opened up parts of the system in terms of access to folks traditionally marginalized and excluded.

the problem comes in what those folks did upon gaining this access. did they return to home fronts and build in the treanches or absolve themselves from community responsibility.
