Black People : PBS host Smiley calls meeting to urge black agenda

People can't stand hearing the truth about THEMSELVES. Mr. Cosby was right, there is no argument.

Those of us who had been speaking up/out/etc. about the same things never could get much airtime etc. on the same forums which gave 'Doctor' Cosby more than he deserved...

And actually he did little more than repeat the same old b. s. some veteran Civil Rights mainstays use to place all of the blame on us so called 'black militants':

But at least we did and do remember where the 'hood' is!

I.e ., such aformentioned 'leaders' haven't been near one, in years...

Feel me?

Dig that too??

So, let's do keep it truly real, y'all...

All of this is just empty hoopla.

Tavis and Sharpton aint gone do nothing but talk.

However, when it comes to some "accountability," how about going back to "The Million Man March"....or the "Million Woman March"....or the "Millions More March?"

What kinda action came out of these gatherings?

What kinda action came out of the "10,000 Black Men In Philly" campaign?

So, who's "accountable" after 10 years of meeting and talking at "The State Of The Black Union?"

Who's "accountable" after buying and reading Tavis' book and saying, "This is some doable stuff."

Just who is really "accountable" for our families and our communities?

The obvious answer to your questions:

It's your turn to make a difference too...

Good luck!

Better yet a grassroots crew.

If we reside in a majority Black neighborhood it mite be good for us to organize agendas with our block associations, by first polling our neighbors , taking a consensus of demands,
vote for a platform , of an agenda, and then seek to network with adjacent,
block associations, until the effect mushrooms,
from area , to
councilmatic district.

Everyday folks are ticked off about much,
but the things we are ticked off about; are more in common,
then they are diverse.

This is something that would not take alot of money, other then refreshments.
And can be done at a steady pace without rush

Lol, he doesn't put blame on black militants, he puts blame on people who waste money on stuff they don't need while their children need clothes and food. He's talking to criminals and irresponsibility. The F outta here with all that "feel me/keep it real" nonsense, we need to stop with all these catchy sayings and master the language.
