Black People : PBS host Smiley calls meeting to urge black agenda

All of this is just empty hoopla.

Tavis and Sharpton aint gone do nothing but talk.

However, when it comes to some "accountability," how about going back to "The Million Man March"....or the "Million Woman March"....or the "Millions More March?"

What kinda action came out of these gatherings?

What kinda action came out of the "10,000 Black Men In Philly" campaign?

So, who's "accountable" after 10 years of meeting and talking at "The State Of The Black Union?"

Who's "accountable" after buying and reading Tavis' book and saying, "This is some doable stuff."






Just who is really "accountable" for our families and our communities?

All of us. Not just some random black leader. We need to stop looking to one person to lead us, we have what we need at our fingertips when we decide to use it. We don't need an agenda either and why black people keep thinking that Obama is our savior is beyond me. The man represents America, black AND white. He's is BIRACIAL, not just black and needs to look out for the country. We can look out for ourselves.

People can't stand hearing the truth about THEMSELVES. Mr. Cosby was right, there is no argument.

What we need to do is quit just reacting (emotionally) and start acting (which will take doing things like applying the principles of analysis etc. to a complete examination of what aills us, be it disfunctional individuals/relationships/families/etc).

I. e., some folk did and do seek to make a difference, others just make noise, (a few no sense at all)!

Overall, no networking/organizing/etc., no plan of action aka agenda, etc.?

No new movement!

Period!!
