Paul of Tarsus: scholars may be wrong to say it was chosen from its Latin source

Mr. Audlin dismiss Paul being named after the Latin Paul meaning short/tiny. Some say it was called Tiny because he was from the tribe of Benjamin that was the smallest tribe. Others like Joe Atwill say it’s a joke about Paul being castrated.
Audlin thinks the original script came from Aramic of Pauli-meaning Deceiver or Flatter. Audlin may have a point. When I read the letter of Jude, which is an innuendo attack upon Paul it states:
“They boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage” Jude 16
Paul may have directly or indirectly responded to this by admitting that he boast a little but he doesn’t allow people to take advantage of him (see 2 Cor 11:16-21)
