Passing
(Dedicated (finally) to Kim, Sheryl and those who have lost their mothers)
By Cindy

Something I read
Very profound
Said
When a parent passes
The world changes so
That you can no longer
Be a child

Finding yourself
Without
Alone
Motherless
You know
What an orphan feels like

In your darkest hour
You think those thoughts
Without realizing
That you are not
Alone
Parentless

For she has become
A better person
Without this world’s
Obligations
And the need to escape
Into a bottle

She is there
Watching over you
Like she never did before
Hoping that fond memories
Surface
Replacing bad to good in your heart

Never alone
Not an orphan
Although physical presence removed
Her most precious heart remains
Focused on you
And all the happiness you gave

Winters and summers
Sunrise and sunsets
What you need to know
No one
Is ever gone long
Only just removed from your sight

Hello Cindy.. long time no hear from you. Don't stay away so long.

Thanks for sharing this.

" What you need to know

Is ever gone long
Only just removed from your sight. "

Very profound. Regardless of your age, I do know you miss your love one's when they part this earth. My mother has lost most of her Family, and I know she miss them so much. Especially her Mother. I'm going to call her again and talk with her. Thanks for writing this. I just spent time with her for Thanksgiving, it wasn't enough.

She does know me and my brothers and sisters will miss her dearly.
Tell those you love all about the love while they are here. Do all you can for them now. Make their days as happy as possible while they are here, do what you can so they enjoy it with you. Take them to new places, afford a trip take them somewhere they have always dreamed of visiting. Do what you can. Know your family here is your family in heaven. :hearts2:
