    Tell a child a word

    And let it be overcome

    Let them understand its meaning

By way of what you teach, how you live, let them know

    Give a man a meal

    And help your fellow overcome

Give them a chance to go on

By sharing what is yours, what they need, let them have

    Show a girl a time

    When one had to overcome

Break down the hardships before her

By explaining what is past, what she feels, let them meet

    Do a work of wonder

    And work hard to overcome

Let your weakness be a strength

By you not giving up, what is precious, let it grow
