    OUT

    Dead roses contain heart breakers
Humming Birds sing unforgettable love songs
    Telephones carry every unsaid word
    Walls speak of unseen girls
And the heart exposes the possibility of change
So the mind takes on this confusion
Even though the feet would like to keep it moving
    ALONE
The hands want to start accusing
So her delicate soul wants to start reaching
    Out
But then he stands in front of her face
Forcing the evil twin in her to come
    Out
The heart is silently yelling, and the instinct is slowly creeping
    Out
    Side
So her eyes begin to leak
And her body slowly begins to weak-n
Now she’s crying her heart to him
But nothing in him can bear the sound of weeping
    So he leaves her behind
In search of empty vases to fill
Buys a thousand humming birds to sing a thousand more
    Unforgettable love songs
    Disconnects every telephone
Repaints the walls thinking it will stop the secrets from pouring
    Out
Alone he sits and his heart drips the pain of his past
Memories only allow him to cry silently
Deep in his eyes she stares never knowing she is there
    He reaches
    Out
To feel these melodies, she sings so softly
Reminds him of the first time he saw her
A glance in her gleaming eyes
    Left his heart beating
And his mind thinking of all the things he’d do to make her eyes light
    UP again
Like how the moon looks in the sky with all the stars on its side
Well that’s how he felt inside
And the more she sings these melodies
The more he believes that she is, was, will always be
    His Only Unending Tear
He cries from his weary eyes
And there he lies in the arms he was made to exist in
    Made to breathe in
    There to sleep in
    Her arms he cries, now
In her arms he cries, now
In her arms is where he is now

Protected, my soul is now singing OUT
    He calls ME out,
    And I call him OUT
I call him my One Unforgettable Tear
And he calls me his Only Unending Tear
There is a moment of silence
A look in his eyes dreams many
    And here sits, I
    By his side
    And before I know it
There, it drops…there it falls, so still he cries

Wow, there is so much to say about this piece. The rhythm and smooth "outward" and inward flow of this, as he and she move closer and closer together to release those tears. Awesome scribe poet. Congratulations, welcome back, and I look forward to more.
