Don’t you know how much love
We have for all of you.
And that we are right here beside you
Only to you we show our soft side

It is a mental struggle, and I feel it to
This brick house is our home
And here is where we come
To rejuvenate with love and care
To prepare for the next battle
In this capitalism atmosphere

We fight on difference battleground
For the same meaning and causes
Some call us
Father Mother, Sisters, Brothers,
Some call us
Teachers, preachers, community leaders
Other is
Uncles, Aunts, Grandparents our elders.
Kings, Queens, Generals, Soldiers.
We are all warriors.

In this concrete jungle where we roam
Fighting for independence, our heritage.
Trapped in a country
that is govern in one cause only
to break us…demean us
To turn us, against us.

We got to stay alive, and be wise
To many of the young are crying and dying.
If we must die, then the message
Got to be sent.
Warrior in training
Future Kings and Queen to be.
Take off where we left off.
View our words carefully.

It is all about our RACE.
Yes I am being blunt
They fear us.
And hope to gain our trust

And that is where we have failed
It is part of our nature to care
So you got to stay focus
On our RACE
In order
To over come
Our own HATE

All the family and friends
Who had die on the battleground?
On the streets, in the March
From the chemical warfare
Of drugs
From the guns the capitalist
Put in our hood.
From the beat down
In the man in blue
FROM US KILLING US!
I cry out loud.

We are here in this country
By force only.
And when ever we take a step
To over come our bondage
They slip right in,
With more poison

To them it is a game
To us it is our life
As the wheels are turning
We are becoming mentally free
As the wheels are turning
We are living, learning and healing.
As the wheels turns
We are out witting the injustice
Of there poison.

We live for YOU!

Take care on the path you travel
Be careful and ask many questions
Listen carefully to the answer.

We all fight on difference field of battle
For the same meaning, and objective.
Empowerment: For our people, our RACE.
Trust in us.
Peace, and much love.

indeed our fight
is meaningful
we cast out in cry
to live not to die
weave in the box
four corners of
str8 struggle
the cause is worthy
forth many before us
laid , drip blood , and
stood in the line of fire
passing it on was the
greatest desire so here
we are again from every
hamlet of hope
we are in the same struggle
different wars may the sons
and daugthers of the great
great ancestors be past to
them to continue the fight
truely some day we all will win
da true freedom the same power
the best of life the great spirit of
dead it's mental war we are cast
stop the controller
stop the killing
stop the drugs
stop the misunderstanding
stop the cross war on each other
stop the cry
start the empowerment
start the bonding
start the loving of others and self
start the hope dat dream
start the rise of the call
start it .......shhh! listen
hear the knowledge forth given
hear the wisdom spoken
hear the ancestors weep as they turn
hear the struggle
know ya directional path
work it , feel it , and do it
in the middle we all shall meet in VICTORY !

let not my eyes close and giveth self da continue power
of ya might hand to let me fight and feed the word u so giveth
and be of thy glory of hope & reason ....i stand in this fire
and i shall not burn but rise and reach as many hearts my mission
is my war in the struggle.

Thank u sistah bluewater for this powerful piece......

Sister Bluewater,
I can't begin to tell you how much this piece touched me today
I mentor a group of minority college students who where having
conflict amidst each other...and I had to remind them where
the battle really is....it's not between each other, there is a whole
world out there we need to change...and entire campus that doesn't
even know the definition of "diversity"

Thank you for this Bluewater,....I would love to read this to them
this message is what they really need to here......our youth today don't
realize the war, is not over.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,!

oh, and Rich....your words were the the highlight of it all!
