There's no children here
just us of lonely fear
in such poverty i shed a tear
struggling yet hope that we stear
for a mind dat's cyrstal clear

on da other side of the street
where we fight not in defeat
yet da loyality continues to leak
no children here as i speak
just us worriors death now seek
heart & soul still i weep

Because there's no children here
been taken by da peer
betrayed and stolen like slaves
killed upon many i stand at da graves
life horror of our youth
leaves me dry speechless as an mute

To preach is to teach as we reach
for children of our better morrow
wit deeds of hope and no shame & sorrow
raising da bars of our higher power

what would it be like if there was no seed
children of us to carry on da deed
we may dread for they desert us all til no more
it would be worse then deadly sin of before
i'm just on the other side of the street

unfortunately

i live on the other side too.

man $$$RICH$$$ you are speaking volumes about the forgotten ones

the children because there are no more children

On the other side of the street is a child you'll never meet
For warriors of daily surival exsist on this side of the street
All victims of the infamous no child left behind crusade
Young marytrs for the cause as life continues its parade

Times have made the babes step into manhood
robbing them of their essential years of childhood
Nowadays society mortages their precious future
And wonder why their motives are no longer pure

TO be continued ....

Bro. $$Rich$$ I could definitely understand the other side of the street because it looks like the side of street that I reside on. You bring the truth to forefront in souch a bold and intense manner. keep doing what you do my brother.
