    Yes, sir....

    Now, I won't explain exactly why I posted this but......

    Brother I-khan...

    I moved from Cali to the South for a reason...

    To connect with not only ancestral ROOTS but also retracing steps of Ancestors....

    I actually became familiar with Micheaux studying the history of Southern literature and finding how certain authors (white) influenced themes of early Black filmmkers!

    Since this is one of my areas of interest (screenwriting, videogrphy, etc) brother Micheaux is a necessary ingredient.

    In a similar manner in which I was a jazz musician, playing the trumpet, and finding it necessary, as I got into more complex composition, to study Jelly Roll Morton, Buck Johnson , Buddy Bolden and "King" Joe Oliver.

    Micheaux IS literally the "Founding Father" of Black Cinema...!
