like variations on a single theme
    a single extreme human condition
    the face of hatred
    the multiplicity of expressions
to bend and contort the countenance
    that amounts to something
    outside of love
    a virulence that pervades
    and invades the heart, mind
    and soul then seeps
to escape into a larger realm
    imagine a degraded community
    with hatred at the helm
and woe to the soul overwhelmed
by the endless forms and fashions
    and applications of hatred
that set one heart against another
    so many subtle ways
    to ways more expilict
    and the malicious thoughts
    hatred solicits
    turn to deeds
    when it's grown from
    the seeds sown
    it bares fruit like
    carefully nutured and tended trees
    each fruit baring many seeds
    of it's own
so it goes and grows exponentially
so where their should be love
    there is essentially hatred
hate being just one kind of tree
