I do recall a poem called 'A Negro Speaks Of Rivers'?

I also do feel and think all approaches to speaking up/out/etc. about our ties to the lands we find ourselves etc. reveal things a lot of us may not be all that aware of...

    In relationship to Mother Africa:

Continental Africans connection is to the Congo River--which like the Mighty Mississisippi to us here--does span a lot of our various communities !

So I'd also like to find out if you and others have penned poetry related to it as well...

    I. e., perhaps the more all of us know and understand about it, being the lifeblood of its various peoples, etc., then we here have a better chance of getting our minds around what plagues the African nation of the same name...

    Anyway another suggestion...

    :fyi:
