One day your gonna miss my smile
But I’ll never miss smiling at you
    When I
Though I’d found something I could finally cling to
    A belief
    A faith
    A saving grace

Now I find myself grasping at straws
    To explain away the flaws
    And the laws
    Of gravity
    Crash my heart down
    I said
The laws of gravity crash my heart down

    **** you’re such a buzz kill.

    And the tears fall still
    But now just

    one

    at

    a

    time

    Like a leaky faucet
    Reminiscent of a waterfall
I just can’t turn it off

‘Cause do-it-yaself don’t work no more
    Sure
Plumbin’ man says it just needs a good tap
    He’ll be ‘round soon as I call…

Leaky-*** faucet, reminiscent of a waterfall

    But that

    drip
    drip
    drip

    As I

    strip
    strip
    strip

    Your pictures off my wall
    Is a bitter rhythmic comfort
    One for everyday you’re gone
    And I
    Skip that track-three love song
    Every time it comes on

    I’d ask you to
    “baby just gimme one reason…”
So I could turn myself around
But the thought just gets me down
    ‘Cause your reasons
    Are bull****

    And they say
That there’s a bus at every corner
But I think I’ll take the taxi
    ‘Cause I’m sick
    And I’m tired
    Of being sick and tired
    My understanding expired
    **** it… “you’re fired”…

God I wish it were that easy.

You’re a stagnation in my life
    A palpitation in my heart
    Incineration of my mind
And I know I’m killin’ the horse
    But it just won’t die
And I just want to cry
    “free at last!”
Still I can’t drop the ball

    **** leaky faucet
    Reminiscent of a waterfall
Every day I miss you just a little bit less
And one day I won’t miss you at all

    But one day
    Is not to-day
I just take it each day
    At a time

But you may find me somewhat different
    The next time you call
    ‘Cause everyday I miss you
    Just a little bit less
And one day I won’t miss you at all…
