it's just a basic need we all have
was it Maslow, or Pavlov, or Jung,
or, was it that freak-nassstee Freud,
    who said that?

baby, I don't ask for much,
never have, but it's when I'm feelin
I'm lacking in my diet, my teeth
    be set on edge...

it's a knawing sensation in the pit of
my stomach, like I been hongree for
    two, three days
    ...

    it's this dizziness, vertigo, somethin
crazy, place be spinnin cuz I can't
    have none...

    keep thinkin about

    "ain't had NONE!"

    and I salivate:

(that WAS Pavlov and I ain't
    nothin BUT a DAWG!)

    my basic tendency is to
    fill this void with
    ravenous words
    cuz my carnal mind
    done gone slack
    with so much lust

    and

    I have to ask myself
    'am I making any sense?'

    'did I say that?'

cuz what I really wanna say

    is

I ain't seen you, to touch you
to feel you, to smell you,
to taste you, to know you

    to SHOW you

    that when I get hongree
all I REALLY want to do

    is

    eat ...

    Tyte Scribe....

Interesting displacement. I like the style...the content hold a lot of meaning.. Which could be looked at in many different ways. In what way were you putting it down?

    Thank you

for the question, Shaneak ~ the purpose of this joint was to simply put all that psycho-babble I learned in school, aside....
because whether I'm conditioned to respond...or succumbing to the pain/pleasure principle...or dealing in the archetypical natures of my subconscious, or actualizing my SELF ...

    When he's my need....

    it's just time to feed

but be ever/always free to 'feel' the scribe howsuneva you
    need....

    Thanks for the read

& D-Mo....thank you, as always, for checkin it out.

    peace

    a

or was it adler? or fanon? my question is what rung on the heirarchy of needs triangle do you reside. Hmmm...your mouth salivates...he must be ringin' that pavlovian bell, maybe it was operant conditioning that has you...hmmmm, maybe not....Id, Ego, or superego?

    tight wurk queen.
