Love don't need sex for love to be
Love stands by itself
Complete and whole in its beauty
Naturally
That's why love don't love nobody

Love ain't gonna be fooled
Loved can't be tricked by sexual tricks
It won't get caught in a lustful trap
No, no
Love is to smart for that

Love be watching
Laughing really
As you pump and grind
Have sex
Doing your thing
In love's sacred name
Love wonders why you think it's all the same

And when the sweat dries
And the inner explosions are but a memory
You hopelessly look for other things
That make love what it is supposed to be

You want that lasting feeling
That comes from subtle things
That comes when you care
Without that
All you did was phuk
Love wasn't even there
