    On a sailboat…in the ocean
    In a cabin…on the sea
With the one I called my “true love”
    Lying there…next to me

    In a sober, misty moment
When all was calm and clear to me
It brought to mind what God has granted
Joy of heart…and love of thee

    Then…

    In a teary eyed confession
You said I wasn’t the one for you
The morning after our vow of “forever”
Your one true love returned for you

    Now, I sit…on a cruise ship’s bow
Wondering how love turned so wrong
Wondering if my one, true love
    Will someday find me…all alone

I stared at dolphins…swimming in pairs
Killer whales were paired up, too
Yet, there I sat…drowning in sorrow
My mood as deep as the water’s blue

I’ve traveled the seas…for seven years
Searching for one whose heart is true
I’m not looking for love…no, not any longer
Just someone to remove all memory of you

I’m looking for someone to make me smile
One who’s pure and good that way
One who has an innocent heart
Let that one, please, to look my way

Near a cruise ship…in the ocean
A river flowed into the sea
It brought new life…and treasured moments
When I looked up…you smiled at me.

    ~here we go again.:)~

baller that was beautiful! Sounds like the transition is watering your thoughts and thrusting forth the words to set them free. Run on. :)

$$RICH$$...you've gotta go with the flow...be ready to move whenever the wave rocks you.

gempis...the key to success, in relationships or business, is to always be ready for--and willing to--change. transitions can be good.:) THANK YOU.

"butta"..."maestro" is a big name to live up to...but i'll give it my best shot.:)

    THANKS FOR READING...and responding.

    let the river flow.
