I wouldn't call this ol' skool. But if one only ever experienced American dancing, this certainly would shock a person familiar with line dancing.

    oh yeah!!

ok, so it wouldn't be the whole house, but the five or eight of us would be "granted" the floor space right in front of the band and we'd be gone with it!! (lakehills in the mid 70's)

overland express in the late 70's, folks would mess around and give me the floor when i got a couple/three ladies dancing with me in step.

oh, HEY!!! good times!! thanks for the memories. (this copd and the danged oxygen tank kinda curtails this stuff these days, but it would prolly be useful to get some of that back.)

[in response to another thread: this was basically the "something special about the father in my life": "don't just stand there doing the same step over and over; change it up!" pops was all over the floor and he passed that along to all of us; mom and dad's house parties were always a little bit dance practice.]

Yes, Imma "old skool" dancer and can still dance.

I like that line dance, too.....It's kinda "involved." But, with some practice, I could get it.

My girlfriends and I usually get together at somebody's house and watch the video and learn the steps together.

    (good exercise too!)
