I

expect me to conjure mid/
nite in ur hips...we'll dance
pagan rain
our pores; whisper.

II

cold freaks we b, wrappin our
thighs around the wind-taste
sunlight with
yo tongue's ripe tip;

III

i'd rather put u to my
mouth-blow u-conch shell loud,
and brash...hear me;
hear my ocean.

IV

feel the slight sting of my bark
housin' yo inner tree.
we speak wa/
tusi-We live!

I

Let me read you poetry
Have you feast off my words
Savoring
Each yummy course

II

Cleanse your pallet with our wine
Saturate your taste buds
With the sweet
Red burgundy

III

After the sun sets, reflect...
Do the sun's rays linger?
Or do moon
beams shine brighter?

IV

Let's hum a ballad or two
make footprints in the sand
Let's count them
all when we're through...
