    Mikyia mo (Greetings),

We are often asked which of our publications should be studied first. On our site we have a self-study approach and a communal learning approach which complement one another. We recommend that our people begin with the self-study approach and study the following publications in this order:

KUKUU-TUNTUM - The Ancestral Jurisdiction (listen to the mp3s)
    UBEN-HYENG - The Ancestral Summons
    UAB-ODWIRA - Pa Nsaman Atemmu

The above three will give you a firm cosmological foundation in Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion and Culture

NANASOM - Read the Nanasom page of the site
Read the Afuraka/Afuraitkait Nanasom Nhoma - 4 issues of the Nhoma (journal) and other articles on the page

    MAAKHERU - audio webcasts

The Nanasom and Maakheru works will give you a firm foundation in Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral identity, culture and trustory as related to cosmology and ritual practice

NSAMANKOMMERE - Ancestral Shrines in Kamit
    NSAMANKOM and the Seven Senses
    Odwirafo and Aakhuamuman

After reading the above three documents (in concert with the NKOMMERE and SANKOFA WO DIN articles already read in the nhoma), your are now ready to establish your Nkommere (Ancestral Shrine) and received more focused guidance from your Nananom Nsamanfo (Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors). They have already been guiding you, however, your communication will be more focused.

AKRADINBOSOM - Read the introduction page and the articles
AKANFO NANASOM - Read the introduction page and the articles on the Abosom and Nsamanfo (Nyankopon-Nyankonton - Ra-Rait, Odomankoma - Atem Khepra, Twereduampon - Khepra, Origin of the Term Nsamanfo in Kamit, Origin of the Term Abosom in Kamit, Akan Origin of the Term Hoodoo)

You will gain a greater knowledge of the Abosom (Deities, Orisha, Vodou) that have been working with you all of your life. You will become more aware of how our Ancestral Religion has been corrupted in Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) and outside of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) and how to recognize and avoid the corruption. You will also understand the nature of our inborn connection to our culture which follows us transcarnationally - through successive reincarnations - in spite of our dislocation from Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa).

You will gain a greater knowledge of the nature and function of your Okra/Okraa (Ka/Kait), your personal Obosom (Deity), the Soul/Divine Consciousness dwelling within and Its relationship to the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo and Nyamewaa-Nyame (The Supreme Being)
