    Massive Protest had effectd
    Johnson to pass civil rights
    legislature, pushed Nixon to
    pass affirmative action, and
    end the war.

Tea Part protests have caused Obama to make changes republicans,
can believe in, and now Occupy Wall street has influenced the president
to make concessions to student loans for college tuition.

What is common to both the Tea Party and Occupy Wall street is their,
national unity and national focus, and collective demands.

All though ad hoc efforts like the recent DC Black protest for jobs,
and the upcoming "Black is Back" are laudable,
they lack the national Black support, as well as collective focus no clear cut agenda uderstood by at least 12% of the national Black community

    The point,
    what works is clear

, but do we have the will to unity as we did in the 60s?
