I have ben trying to save judgement until Obama actually takes office and writes or doesn't write some policies. But this thing with hillary clinton I hope does not go through. African Americans, and Latino Americans overwhelmingly supported Obama in the election. I think it would be a smack in the face to both groups , if he chooses hillary as sec of state.

The clintons showed their true racist colrours during the primaries of 08, as we all know. Now is he really thinking of picking this incompetant woman as sec of state? I think Bill Richardson would be a much more logical choice. IMo choosing hillary would show a level of weakness,I hope this is just a smoke screen.:gossip:

He also announced that he will be working with McCain and camp. My biggest question is - What is he planning to do for the Black Community?

    ah ha

you make a great point here, his mother was white, by dissin' white people would be like dissin' his moms and you know he's not going to that
so let's hope he can get this thing together

we say black white brown yellow but we ALL NEED MONEY

what he does has to be for ALL of us to single out a portion of the population will be to his doom especially if he does it for black people
    exclusively

i do expect him to address the economy and try to help people but

remember he is against a great juggernaut

FEDERAL RESERVE BANK AND PRESENT BANKING SYSTEM

and federal is not so federal here if you want to know how camouflage

is AMERIKKKA is just look at the name FEDERAL RESERVE BANK

it's says "federal" but is NOT under the control of the governement

i'm just talking i know you know these things

All we need to do is recognize and realize the Truth. The fact of the matter is it makes many of our people feel very good when they can say "There is a Black man in the White House!" This is despite the fact that he is not as "black" as they make him sound. However, I can not single us out; America by and large has this problem. It is all situational - in this situation, it is okay to call him "Black," but when it comes to determining his biological makeup, we know darn well we would be calling him "bi-racial," "mixed," and whatnot.

Is Alicia Keys black? Is Mya black? How about Jason Kidd, Lisa Bonet, Rick Fox - you get my point. How are we gonna call some of them Black, and others mixed/bi-racial?

As far as the title of the thread is concerned, ...well...

Don't thank Obama for progress; thank Obama and the Clinton's, because that is sure how it is gonna turn out. They are there to help each other and work together.

    peace

as stated over and over again, it is just a game to them as they watch us get emotional with the belief that our vote really counts. As some are beginning to see, IT DOES NOT!!!

Obama has no choice in the matter as he is being told what to do and whom to choose.....

once again they have managed to fool us, we should be ashamed of ourselves!

Oh don't get me started on voting...

I am sitting here listening to Brotha Malcolm X speak on voting,
    (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EHPgz99ZlA&feature=related)
(Lawd I wonder what he'd be saying about the 2008 election)

    viewing threads of the past,
    (http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29736),
    (http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?p=452507#post452507) , and
    (http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45124&highlight=I.R.S).

That is beside the fact that Bro. Hagins has been bringing forth some real "stuff" with respect to how voting works. After all of this, it would be extremely difficult to get me to participate in this nation's electoral process, for sure.
